"for every study maligning porn, another clears its name"
That is because it is (or was) subject to the scientific bandwagon effect where someone felt compelled to look for all kinds of "links" to "bad things".

And then, someone else has to come in with a better methodology to correct that.

Apparently, there is an upcoming paper which goes into how antagonistic narcissists might blame the problems in their lives on porn (rather than taking responsibility for being jerks to their partners).

So, that's going to be an interesting read.

This study yet again shows how that is not the case (and points to a review which showed that is not the case).

There's a weird sub-culture which believes that erectile dysfunction (ED) is linked to pornography. As is likely no surprise to anyone, this study shows it isn't. The only variable which is here is anxiety.

Noting that it's not just "sex education" in schools which can be pretty bad but that parents might not be interested in talking about that.

Hmm? So, a "conservative think tank" has a poll which indicates the majority of people are in support of "age verification"?

Have they considered selection bias and framing?
