Looks like a demo for a Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster got banned. The name of the company on the ban list is in another language but it translates to Capcom.

For a gist of what is about, it's an set in Victorian England about a young earl who investigates supernatural cases and manages his manor. There are supernatural and comedic elements to it but also more serious scenes.

has an interesting cutesy art style. The background of the seven mysteries in the school seems similar to that of .

Apparently, transported to another world titles are common titles to adapt into anime because they already have an established fanbase.

If I couldn't even write a million lines of code in ten minutes then what sort of programmer would I be. Lol.

Is Bluesky still weirdly puritanical? It's hard for me to immediately tell as it might involve a problematic algorithm or strangely specific moderation.

It looks like the Japanese lawmaker (from the upper house of the legislature, the House of Councilors) is hosting a talk with someone from a free expression non-profit and a law professor from the University of California, Irvine to discuss financial censorship.

"Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal and other apps to be treated more like banks

Some digital services look like banks and act like banks, but aren’t banks — meaning they can, for instance, close down your account without notice. Or be difficult to contact when you want to dispute fraud.

This is about to change: the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has just ruled that all digital services that handle a significant number of transactions should be subject to bank-like supervision. The government agency will gain new powers around incorrect transactions, fraudulent activity, data privacy, and more."

Apparently, the Bluesky bridge is down due to server maintenance on Bluesky's side.

Remember the article I shared about a pharmaceutical company (I think it was Johnson & Johnson) which used to test skin products on prisoners (and left them traumatized and with unpleasant health conditions).

From that came the precedent that prisoners cannot meaningfully consent.

What Dr. Cantor misses is that what he encounters is not the same as what is discussed here. This is not coerced and it is for gender dysphoria.

It is problematic how the human rights of criminals might be violated. And criminals cannot meaningfully consent to begin with under correctional control or under coercion. That is an established concept.

It is a good example though of how a human rights issue can spill over from one area to another when left ignored.

Remember: In the name of the censor, the fascist, and the holy algorithm.

.hack//roots () wasn't bad but it has the problem where they create a whole new world with a new cast. There isn't a whole lot to connect it to the events of .hack//sign () and it's games.
