A bill can drive censorship without requiring it. That is still a problem.

So much of Death Note's plot would fall apart with the Internet. If you pay close attention, there are televisions, there are computers, but there is no Internet.

To be fair to Shogun, it sounds like a film based on a specific time period, it's not some "live action adaptation" of "One Piece".

The ironic thing about Death Note is that they could have stopped people being killed just by not putting people's names up on the television.

A number of bits of Chinese content (i.e. novels, movies) would be alright, if for one detail, someone shoving in propaganda about how wonderful China is (i.e. China is the best in the world).
