"Obelisk" is also not the name of one of the other gods. In the original anime / manga, it's actually the God Soldier of the Obelisk.

It'd be interesting for titles to explore Egyptian mythology more.

Even in Yu-Gi-Oh, you had magic cards which had gods as namesakes (the American adaptation is very localized, "Slifer" represents Osiris), however, there wasn't really any references to Osiris' role over death and resurrection.

Sometimes, you see someone come up with increasingly complex ideas of how to contort federation to try to fit it in a box it was never intended to fit in.

Or someone could just create a small social network.

A small social network which isn't federated might be interesting.

To be fair, federation has it's upsides.

For privacy reasons, I won't disclose more information.

It's probably adult actors. I'm not suggesting it isn't but it is telling.

@anime And when I scrolled through, it wasn't just one film.

So, that was a thing.

Earlier, I saw someone saying weird anti-anime things. I looked at their feed. They were commenting on films they were watching. Comments were like "middle school" "teens having sex". Commentary about a film with sex. Sounded live action.

Methinks doth protest too much.

A title I'd recommend watching is Macross Frontier.

For some 80s space opera action, give Space Battleship Yamato 2199 a try. It's a remake of an older .

If you want to watch a about cute girls in space, try the Girl who leapt through space.

The anime that Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is based on has a sequel, so I wouldn't be surprised if that got a remake too.

I watched Exception, because even though it didn't seem that interesting, I am a fan of sci-fi, and I wanted to see where they went with it.

Exception was a Netflix anime production.

It was very serious (no humor or silliness to break the ice). It's about people (who are literally clones printed out of a bio 3D printer) trying to colonize an uninhabited planet (barely inhabitable). One of them tries to get everyone killed because they are killing a particular bacterium or something.

That's the plot.

I made an exception (hah exception) for Kado because it was an interesting concept (and it was a number of years ago).

Kado was a bit of a thought experiment anime like "what would happen if we had infinite energy?" and they could have leaned into that more.

When someone goes out of their way to watch something they hate just so they can complain. @anime

There isn't a whole lot of anime content on here, other than someone going out of their way to watch something they hate just so they can complain, and a few good bots, so I figured I'd add a bit of my own.

I might repost a couple of posts as there appears to be a bit of inconsistent federation.
