@annigl Hello 🙂
@EtheSherdnerd Get an Android phone 😁
@kefir PS you may need to do it on a Web browser
@bethanyusher Hadrian's Wall site altered to reduce appeal to sightseers https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-63580902
@kefir Follows and followers... then Domain subscribes... on the left menu (under Follows and subscriptions). Put in some domains (eg mastodon.me.uk or mastodon.ie) and choose either a List of the Home timeline. You will get the federated (public) timeline from the servers you add in the list or Home timeline. qoto.org is running modified Mastodon server software - the standard software doesn't have this useful feature.
#introduction #qotojournal Hello. I've looked at a couple of servers and finally settled here. What is particularly excellent and unique is the ability to follow another domain of interest and get its whole public timeline on your Home page or in a list. So I can easily keep an eye on what's happening on other servers. Everyone needs Domain Subscription!
@chrisjhorn @gerardbyrne Think I worked on most things from 11/05 RSX-11S up to the 11/93 and 11/94 RSX-11M-PLUS! Macro-11, device drivers, ACPs, RTL/2... What a life I must have missed 😃
@gerardbyrne @chrisjhorn They would never have needed a gas boiler 😉
@gerardbyrne @chrisjhorn I worked on PDP 11/70s at a few places - they required 3-phase power and certainly warmed a room!
