I have discovered the exact age limit for teaching counting in binary. (doing math with just 1, 0)
6th graders who are about 11 and 12 years old can do it-- 5th graders (age 10 or so) mostly can't. Math is still too new to them and though they've been adding two digit numbers for three years it's not ingrained enough for variation.
Anyway back to the drawing board.

Just a reminder that Russia keeps bombing schools and hospitals in Ukrainian cities. There is no strategic value to them other than fear and suffering of civilians.
