Out of curiosity I have joined Mastodon. I'm pretty happy to be here so far. lots of discourse it seems, but that's sort of the point, isn't it?

I'm here partially because my girlfriend is also here and I want to get to know her better. she posts more in depth thoughts and opinions here than she does on Twitter. that's probably problematic that i've come here looking to get to know her better. or maybe it isn't since she specifically mentions Mastodon a lot.

I'm not sure but either way I'm here. hello.
