Less than 24 hours, and the GTK account on Mastodon already had 500+ followers. Hopefully more will get here in the future.
For comparison, the GTK account on Twitter has 3700 followers (unknown number of bots or abandoned accounts)

Sadly while the Web UI of floss.social reports 636 now, the instance I'm on says 481: ActivityPub is bad at propagating information and so it is inconsistent across the network.
If only they used matrix.org instead of ActivityPub...
