@jwildeboer @Sweetshark @webmink @erAck Thanks Jan. We'll update the post to say that we get the feedback, that the majority of the community doesn't want to explore this area, and we won't pursue it. It was genuinely well-intended, perhaps naive, but we've seen what people think.
@libreoffice @Sweetshark @webmink @erAck We just had (still have) a similar discussion over in the #Gitea community after they mentioned a DAO might be something they could look at. It didn't go well. With all scams and stuff going on ATM (FTX etc), the term blockhain is poisoned right now. And my gut feeling is that it is completely burned for a long time, regardless of good intentions. It immediately provokes outrage on all sides. Blame the scmmers, not the tech ;)

It's not fair to mention scams only when it comes to #blockchain and #cryptocurrency
They are a disaster from an environmental point of view and I think this is objective and the reason people get mad at who mention them
