@xpil @jinxd Well that's the promise of Obsidian using plaintext for all its files. Joplin is a very similar alternative (and I believe is open source) but doesn't have as many community plugins and it stores its .md files in a bizarre way that adds a bunch of garbage to folder and file names. That's mostly why I went with Obsidian in the end.

Try , you can use it at the same time with Obsidian on the same "vault", but it's FOSS.
