On Discord, great... do you need a controversy for each platform before moving from a centralized to a decentralized one?
There are plenty Matrix servers that offer to host chat rooms especially for FOSS projects.
@post we're there now because all our teams are there (Vite, Vue, Nuxt). We'll love to move to matrix at one one point. We're thinking to integrate matrix E2E DMs too if possible into Elk in the future, maybe using Hydrogen that is also built with Vite (or make it easier to jump to matrix if both users have the handles in their profiles. Dev is on GitHub though, but that is also centralized. One step at a time.
