Nice, but are you talking about authentication maybe? And the paid service you mentioned how isn't a third party? Or was it a product and not a service?

1. I am not talking about some hosted service i.e., I am talking about a credentials generating app that runs on a user's computing device;
2. Output from said app takes the form of an archive (ZIP and/or #PKCS12)
3. Archive is natively understood by all modern computing devices
For instance:
Opening the #PKCS12 file created, on any modern computing device triggers its native Credentials Management #UI / #UX.

My interest in #Identity #Authenticity is always grounded the following principles:
1. User (never 3rd Party in any guise) controlled
2. Credentials are Open Standards based
3. Credentials storage is handled by a user's computing device (phone, pc, or whatever)
