Where I live, not only has the sea level not risen in the last 30 years, but new beaches have formed.

This is one of the reasons people are skeptical: personal experience does not match.

@post @BarrenPlanet Luckily we have actual global measurements of sea level rise, so we don't have to rely on personal opinions about personal experience of a single place.

People sharing first moment averages to make a point when it comes to climate change is one of the reason I'm so skeptic they don't actually know what they are talking about.

@post If actual data and the conclusions of thousands of scientists over 150 years are not persuasive to you, then I'm not sure what would be?
