I am sorry but she is right, no one has produced that evidence.
Please don't call me ignorant, right-wing or something else. I am vegan for ethical reasons (while most so called climate activists are not despite how bad animal farming is in term of emissions) and I know enough about physics and dynamic systems not to be convinced at all.
For more than a decade I asked to so called climate activists to convince me but they are only able to say "science says so", "check IPCC reports" (that they have not read) and so on.

@post I'm not going to say you're ignorant as I've never met you, but unfortunately, I think you've been listening to folks whose views won't help us address a world that's rapidly becoming inhospitable for most of its biota. As a scientist, I'm convinced by my fellow scientists that anthropomorphic climate change is what we're seeing. The rest of the world needs to catch up and act. Arguments about this happened decades ago.

@post Even in the (vanishingly unlikely) case we're somehow mistaken despite mountains of evidence, we'd be making the world better. Plus, we'd have an opportunity to achieve justice & restitution for people and species who've borne the brunt of many generations of human greed at scale, which has resulted in them being run over, roughshod.

There is no mountain of evidence and you just said you are believing to someone else and in particular to an abstract idea of scientific community. This is an ideology called positivism. I do science instead and check by myself.
About doing something good anyway: sorry but it's just rhetoric; you don't know if every measure taken in the name of reducing CO2 emissions has no bad side effects.
Anyway, of course you are vegan, right?

I don't see a way in which substantially curtailing the colossal amounts of CO2 we create could be a bad thing.
Re: 'believing someone else', none of us can be an expert in every discipline relevant to needed policy positions. I do my best to assess the credibility & vested interests of commentators, as well as insight from those with whom I have personal rapport.

I'm afraid I haven''t see a valid contrary position that isn't couched in self-interest and financial gain from 'business-as-usual', i.e. rampant pollution by existing business, with the world on which all depend being treated as a mere 'externality' that is entirely disposable.

Do you know it first hand like I know most climate activists are not vegan or is this something you heard somewhere? In my experience, AGW skeptics have no conflict of interest just like me.
Let me point out that AGW is decades old; for many years vegan people tried to stress the huge impact of animal farming on greenhouse gas emissions, only recently some climate activists started to promote a plant-based diet and that happened because there was real evidence.
Instead there is no evidence for AGW itself, this is why many people don't accept it and the way climate activists argue, full of scientism and positivism ideologies, won't convince them.
Don't bring in the fossil fuel industry to hide the inadequacy of climate activists.
