I'm a theoretical neuroscientist in Paris.
These days I'm working on biophysics of action potentials (particularly the initial segment) and on integrative modeling of Paramecium, the “swimming neuron” (this is a unicellular protist that changes swimming direction with action potentials).
I also spend some time thinking about the relations between theoretical biology and theoretical neuroscience, ideas about life and ideas about brains.

We have positions, lots of opportunities at @wusmsl@twitter.com: computation, behavior, fMRI, electrophysiology, microscopy and often a mix of approaches -- all about arm/hand motor control and motor learning. Plus you help make the reading list! Please RT/share. https://twitter.com/paulgribble/status/1594018337973051393
Hi everyone, new to Mastodon today and seeing what it's all about. I'm a psychologist who studies empathy, emotion regulation, moral emotions like outrage, and moral judgments. I enjoy interdisciplinary work on this topic and collaborate with philosophers, engineers, more.
Will post about #socialpsych and also my hobbies including #coffee #photography. As a father of four, I'll also reflect on what it's like being an academic dad, of twins too!
Looking forward to connecting for conversation!
Hello everyone
#Quantamised intro
I am a neuroscience enthusiast. I have a background in Electrical engineering before I decided to peruse neural science. Now I am looking forward to a doctoral research after completing my master's degree.
In neuroscience, I believe the articulation of philosophical questions is necessary alongside technological research to make a breakthrough in our understanding of what neurons do, what is computation, what are neural states and so on and so forth.
I am here to connect with people so I may have fresh opinions and ideas about neuroscience, philosophy, psychology and hard questions about life in general.
@Odedrechavi idk about all the academicians but neuroscience folks definitely understood the short sightings of the man by neuralink.
