The Internet Archive now lets users borrow books for one hour at a time. This is freaking fantastic! Now I can look through books online that usually have their pages blanked out due to copyrwrong, just by logging into archive.org and clicking "borrow for one hour." Once skimmed, I can "return" it even before the hour's up, for the next person. For my online image research, this is a triumph over the publishing industry's idiotic IP stupidity that has thwarted me for a few decades. I just need to see what's in the damn book!
