Twitter implosion

While it’s been weirdly amusing watching an increasingly reviled billionaire act like an utter ass in public, the Twitter implosion is extremely painful to witness.

I have dear friends, colleagues, and former students who work (or until recently worked) there. While it had technical and policy difficulties, it was also a hotbed of talent in a company providing a unique, if flawed, platform for social and political discourse.

May everyone there find something new and exciting.

@mattblaze It'll be interesting to see what the new Twitter looks like six months from now.

this seems to have aged very unwell very quickly :-/

@lxo No, I still think it'll be very interesting to see what looks like six months from now!

the crash is going to be very old news by then

@lxo Probably, but maybe it'll still be crashing. More likely a much smaller Twitter will have more or less stabilized by that point. Hopefully it won't elect another Trump.
