I want a Mastodon filter that replaces all euphemisms of Twitter ("birdsite", "the injured bird") with the word "Twitter". It's not Voldemort. We're allowed to talk about it without fear.
@larsks Same here! I've never seen so much magic-like attitude towards something that's essentially just a website.
@radehi @larsks I still think it's just a website. "Destroyed" is a very strong word, I wouldn't use it myself. Also, it's not uncommon for the media of any kind to have a significant impact on the political events.
