I'm spending much less time on Twitter. When I do go there (usually to see if there's anything interesting to post about for Boing Boing) the place feels more toxic than ever. On the other hand, Mastodon has been uplifting. It feels much more like a respectful conversation.

@frauenfelder But actually we have to absorb the massive influx of ex-Twitter people replaying the aggression they're accustomed to on Twitter.

@frauenfelder I hope so. But Tumblr joining the Fediverse may push things the other way. We'll see.

@radehi I hope so! Tumblr does seem more fun-loving than Twitter.
