Has anyone had a look at this #humblebundle ? https://www.humblebundle.com/books/circuits-electronics-morgan-claypool-books?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=tile_index_6 I've been trying to dive more into tinkering with electronics but I'm not sure if these will be above my level or just regurgitated information available else where.
@the_auditor @PINE64 @ewintr@fosstodon.org I'm not seeing one pine related under the fostdon account that pops up. Is it another account?

@codeHaiku I'm out of the loop. Who bought it out?
@the_auditor @PINE64 I don't but I'm curious to find out...did anyone get back to you privately?
Speaking of cost effective Linux smartphones...who here has one of the latest batches of @PINE64 phones? How stable are the core functions? Can it be used as a daily driver? How common are dead pixels they mention? I'm OCD with that stuff
@ramob I really don't recommend it since it is running unstable daily builds and almost certainly will break at any time. But the basic idea is: Install Ubuntu. Add the daily, staging, and os-patches PPAs. Install all the packages. Remove all the Ubuntu stuff.
The end result is sort of a buggy, poor facsimile of a daily build of elementary OS, but it works for testing some things. 😅
Bloggers of the decentralized web, let's unite and share our knowledge and solutions.
Today marks the beginning of #ELIUF or "Explain Like I Use Facebook" where we post content about how this new internet works and link to other blog posts that share similar knowledge. The target audience is, obviously, the userbase of websites like facebook that breathe the centralized internet but start to see the flaws of their internet.
The first of many #ELIUF posts:
@cassidyjames Good to know I'll stick with my base Manjaro until I break it irreparably. Regardless congrats.

Aspiring System Admin, Software Developer, Network Administrator and/or Cyber Security Professional...in other words one day I'll know what I want to be when I grow up.
For now I tinker.
