To the newcomers to Mastodon and the Fediverse:
When you ask to follow someone that doesn't accept followers automatically, please have your profile filled out and some posts in your feed by you. I'm not going to follow anyone that hasn't taken the time to get their feet wet and write some posts, so I can know what you're about.

I might understand Fediverese at some point. But in not in a hurry.
I suspect that there is nothing to really understand, just the way things are like around here.
