@zombiecube likely a high-powered HF vacuum tube amplifier with dangerous voltages which persist for several minutes even when unplugged.

@rdaily Ah, yes. I destroyed the tips on a pair of pliers when I was a kid “taking things apart”—accidentally learned with a powerful zap-pop-smoke how long capacitors hold a charge. Haven’t made that mistake again since.
