The family at Milton Ford on the Mulberry River north of Ozark Arkansas. Mid 1950s or so…

From seven years ago:

Today's pro-tip from the ER: do not put your hand under the deck of a running lawnmower.

Dear Serious Trouble fans: sorry, no episode this week. Getting over being sick and sound like Gollum getting a Brazilian. Next week we’ll be back.

The Jeff Daily in the lower left paragraph is my grandfather. He caught an even larger catfish on the Mulberry river when I was a kid.My grandfather would have been about 34 years old when this article was published 75 years ago. He along with my grandmother Bonnie raised me. He died when I was 13.
He mostly worked as a trapper all his life including as an employee of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission when I was growing up. Trapping mostly wolves and a few fox and bobcats for them when farmers called about problems. If you needed something trapped he was your man.

Just announced as first over-the-counter OC approved by the FDA.
