Like many people, over the last couple of days members of the Bylines Network have joined Mastodon, mostly on the mast.to server. We created links and invited people to join us, and thousands did!

It was exciting to set up camp here and the welcome has been great. But it didn't occur to us that this might overwhelm the server!

Hi! I’ve created this account on the advice of an author friend who is far more digitally savvy than me. Finally got my new account set up. I'm here for all things #bookish #books #reading

I will be recruiting doctoral students into my Science of #Learning and #Metacognition Lab at #UTAustin for the next academic year! I accept students through the #EducationalPsychology department (not #psychology dept)

I study strategies that promote better long-term learning, and the metacognitive and motivational processes that support these strategies. I run a joint lab meeting with Dr. Katherine Muenks, who is an expert in #motivation.
