@redlaserbm I’ve been trying to figure out a tricky probability thing, if you’re interested. Suppose I rate stuff, then I correlate my ratings with other people’s ratings. I can use the future ratings of any one of them to predict what I should look at next. But I can’t combine the predictions of several raters similar to me, to get a more probable estimate than just picking one of them. There should be a way to do it, but I just can’t figure it out.
@cy without thinking about this too hard, there is a model for prediction in the stock market called "prediction with expert advice" which allows for building a portfolio based on the weighted opinions of others, perhaps you can adapt that model here.

@redlaserbm The stock market uses some black magic mathematics what with everyone trying to cheat everyone else out of their money. Strategies and counter-strategies, and supercomputers and everything. Sounds well beyond my price range and ability to comprehend. But I’ll take a look, thanks.
