The Murtoa “Stick Shed” is a now disused (and the last remaining of 18 or so) grain storage shed built out of tall trees in the 1940s.

I noticed the holes in the roof work as pinhole cameras, projecting an image of the Sun on the floor.

So @kattekrab and I used it as what is probably the worlds largest solar observatory, and looked at some sunspots 😎

Interestingly, on a 40C day like today the tin roof allows it to double as the worlds largest sauna. 🥵 🥵 🔥
