Long awaited, the Zany Unzine is finally out. An incomprehensible 32 page zine with an exquisite selection of original drawings, collages, and fully vegetarian word salad.

The main text, running like a sore red thread across the pages, derives from an academic essay probably written in 1999. Individual words were automatically replaced with other unrelated words. The logical structure remains, but the original meaning has been lost. The text has been further altered by translations back and forth across a number of languages and manual editing for even less clarity. Richly illustrated with drawings from 2021-23 and some newer collages.

There are many myths about what artists are and should be. One of them is that artists should be morally pure, which means, among other things, to avoid selling out on the commercial market. Aloi seems to differ, arguing that arts educations don't teach students the practicalities of how to survive as an artist.
