I absolutely love @jessitron's message in this talk! Having been unfortunate enough to experience lousy gamification recently, and having seen the message of collaboration being lost as a result it is interesting to see her informed take on the subject.
Also it's an interesting explanation of why PRs and other common software team practices are so damaging - they set up conflict where we should be collaborating to achieve a goal. Food for thought.
