Now Google is arguably one of the competing #DeathStars in the internet firmament.
The great #CoryDoctorow coined the phrase #Enshittification -- I really wish he had used 2 Ts instead of 3 -- and, if you're not sure just what that means, Google is currently a prime example of it with its Digital Rights Management -- #DRM. 🥥

@StillIRise1963 If you look at the TX politicians, it explains a lot. That is the only way I can make sense of how those people get those jobs.
@StillIRise1963 My family in that area would leave their ranch house unlocked and told me: "We only have food and water here. If anyone going through the countryside is hungry or thirsty, I want them to have it." That is how the people in that are really think. I don't know why they vote for those people.
Actually, I do. My grandfather told me: "If they run for office in TX, you know they are crooked. So I vote for the stupidest one, so they will get caught."
