Note to the #wapo: You can’t surrender defiantly. Surrendering means you’re complying, not defying. If #giuliani wanted credit for defiance, he could have holed up and refused to let them take him alive. You can’t waltz in to your own arraignment, waltz out again and say “look at me, I’m so defiant!”
