I've got the feeling that mastodon is here to stay for the online academic community. Seems like a critical mass may have been reached.

I picked an instance more or less at random - someone on the birdsite recommended it - but may migrate to a more sciency one if better... If someone starts a #biochemistry or #cellbiology one, it's be happy to migrate. If I can figure out how 😅
