When I look at the present state of my world, it's so great. I have a roof over my head, and a stack of firewood and a tank of oil to keep me dry and warm. The cows across the street peacefully munch the grass, and the birds and squirrels do bird and squirrel things that are sometimes fun to watch. I have a wonderful wife, and 3 cats and a dog that are often amusing. We've had plentiful rain this year, below average some months, above average most months, just as it should be.
Whatever happens in the world that some people see as a mess has no effect on my tranquil center. As I look around at this moment, life is wonderful. I can say this at any moment I choose to look around... and do.
Yes, some things can be improved. I improve those things at the local level that I can. Let everyone else to the same, and the world will take care of itself.
