@ThatPrivacyGuy genuinely curious as to why you think so. Are you referring to the Microsoft exception they make?
@siddarthious among other things - having been a victim of their data mining directly (they setup a special page all about me because I dared to call them out for their unlawful cookies when they claimed they never used any).
They also used to sell out their users to amazon for revenues and when i interviewed one of their lead engineers back in 2013 he exposed a bunch of dirty laundry about their activities.

@siddarthious you couldn't pay me to use DDG they are not privacy friendly and sell out their users not to mention data mining them... people need to stop recommending these cowboys
