After not assembling or painting anything for months, I have nearly finished 3 vehicles for GW's Horus Heresy. Just awaiting some parts and some bits drying before I can continue.

I am 57. For me, this is a hard time of life as both of my parents are very elderly and frail with different health issues. I get up to visit them approx every 3 weeks, or more often when emergencies happen.
This makes planning anything else tricky and I find it hard to concentrate on any hobbies.
I am sure that others are going through or have been worse. My wife lost her mother to cancer some 20 years ago and worries about losing her only parent, her father, who has lost the use of an eye and got sciatica, leaving a formerly fit and active man a lot less mobile.
I am incredibly level-headed person, with no mental issues (kudos to those who suffer similar through depression or worse .. like my wife) .. but even I find this period tough. It may last another year or another ten, depending on the health of my parents. They have of course been a fixed thing in my life; always there .. just older than me.
I know my mother finds it hard as my father is frailer than her (he's on oxygen almost 24 hours a day), but they still enjoy life, even if my father is largely house-bound. My mother always ruled the roost, but is prone now to fits of temper as she struggles to cope with my forgetful and hard-of-hearing father.
Where's this going?
Life has its hard periods.
Look for the light and the fun when you can to see you through the darker times.

Rats injured 3 of my orcs and had a BuB sent off by an Officious Ref on initial kick off. I finally remembered to use "Projectile Vomit' from my Troll .. and he kept throwing up on himself! Lost 4-0

Workman in who reinforced weak part of fence left by dodgy cowboys. Also replaced gate: needed after neighbours had new fence fitted.
Flower beds weeded.
Trip to dump.
Visited garden centre to buy plants, compost and a lot of landscape bark.
Flower beds treated, bark spread.
Potting of new plants can wait until tomorrow.
So much for a relaxing weekend.
Takeaway tonight though.

Tally bally ho!
Or Tarot bally ho!

Today's random card from the Druid Craft Tarot deck is the King of Pentacles.
An older man sits in a big chair or throne, a roaring fire is behind with a wild boar cooking on it.
This card is about enjoying what you have already.
If this card appears in the Thoughts/ Decisions row then it can mean focusing plans on staying at home.
If this card appears in the Feelings and Emotions row then it can mean a great time to entertain others; share your successes with others.
If the card appears in the Physical and Material world row then it can refer to being generous with your money. Let others worse off benefit.

You may interpret the card differently.

Details of the spread I use are in a pinned post.
