Is the Russian invasion of Ukraine at its core: a money grab by the Russian Oligarchs - is it in fact simply a "hostile takeover" with human lives being one of the metrics of "acceptable losses"?
Or is it more a case of Putin being a megalomaniac and is flexing to maintain leadership among those Oligarchs?
@soundwave oligarchs gain nothing from this crazy militaristic fit of senile fuhrer. he's just getting out of his mind. and this is a long lasting process. past 5 or 7 years his speech got more and more ridiculous. the past time I heard him speaking I was sure he had a schizophreniia. I has seen such patients and he behaved exactly the same. he grows more and more megalomanic and lives in his own irrational world of lies, oligarchs will only suffer from sanctions. I even think they might displace him. or dispose. he made too many problems out of thin air.
