"Originally from Donetsk, Oksana made connections with vegans across the world and was offered a place to stay in south Wales with a friend and his family.
However, she said she was asked to leave abruptly after discussions about veganism and animal by-products, such as leather."
Well, as long as Oksana can worry about her feelings as others wear leather or prepare meat for food on her Maslow hierarchy of reasons to feel traumatized, as opposed to, say, actual children torn to shreds by Russian artillery, she's doing not exactly fine, but good enough for now.
Still doesn't hurt to try and find an even safer safe space for her, as long as we all can still afford to worry about our #firstworldproblems.
