Posting this on here because I know @ShaMyouiMo can relate: parents just don't like knowing that you are really miserable, do they?
Right!? They don't like that you are suffering, so they want to FF to the bit where you aren't. They want to help, but can't do much, so if you don't need a padded room, you must be okay and they don't have to deal.
