I’ve added a small update to my GoFundMe. Friends and classmates helped me reach the original goal earlier this year, which I’m very grateful for. I’m still waiting on senior housing in Chicago and wanted to share where things stand.

I wanted to share a moment of incredible generosity:
An anonymous donor contributed $2,000 bringing the fundraiser to $4,125 which is above my original goal of $4,000.
I’m truly humbled. This gift — along with all the support from everyone — has given me real peace of mind.
Although the goal has now been met, small donations are still welcome but absolutely never expected. Your kindness in any form means the world to me.

At 78, I never expected to be in this position—but life had other plans. After surviving Guillain-Barré syndrome fourteen years ago (and relearning to walk through sheer determination), I now face a new challenge: making ends meet on Social Security alone.
I'm embarrassed to have to do this but things are getting critical.

@palmerreport Wow! I guess the crazy 'there are documents in the coffin' is not as much of a stretch as we might imagine.
@palmerreport soon. two weeks maybe?
Retired & on SSA—savings gone next month. If you can share/donate $5 it helps deeply. 🙏
