i leave it to you to judge whether modern consumer electronics like a radio-audio set such as this still technician friendly by technician friendly i mean not too impossible to repair given those miniaturized chip components that need specialized gear otherwise, disposable and technicians can only scratch their heads!
that is why in my own electronics design and construction projects i use discrete components and have my projects easy to repair
