We aren’t dependent on journals for archiving. Journals die all the time. Libraries and librarians keep the archives. Neatly organized. Accessible. Fund the librarians.

we don't pay for #opensource software but FYI we can credit the developers' efforts by citing all the packages we use in our publications, e.g. jupyter notebook, scikit-learn, numpy and many more great tools #neuroscience
