Default voltage for the DC source was 9V but the activity is requiring 12V hence I almost forgot to change it.
Need to sign some electronic documents at the moment regarding my exit from the company and revert to them early before I continue on structuring my understanding of the basic thermodynamics and a quick review of the Arnis.
The Arnis being taught in our school is of a different system compared to the Eskrima that I know. Sometime I'll do a comparison.
I thought there was no classes today because of the monsoon rains causing floodings. I woke up late 30 mins behind schedule for electrical circuits 01 but our professor gave us a remote work on series and parallel circuit construction using a circuit simulator.
On the other hand, na upcoming quiz on Arnis also remote.
Been a while and for some updates, summer class has concluded and I passed the 6 weeks crammed Physics for Engineers and Integral Calculus. It was bloody ![]()
At the moment I am on a 5th week of the first semester for this school year with a full load as I have left my work being a software engineer for 20 years. I have retired.
Course load for this semester:
- Engineering Data Analysis
- Computer Programming
- Electrical Circuits 01
- Environmental Science
- Ethics
- PATHFit 3 (Arnis, Badminton, Table Tennis)
- Student Success Program
- Engineering Mechanics
- Basic Thermodynamics
- Differential Equations
Also gonna work on starting my own company soon in dual use deep tech primarily for defense and secondary for civilian enterprise.
The summer term for BSEE, Calculus 2 for Engineers and Physics for Engineers is guaranteed to be offered but because the summer term is shorter the time of classes are longer.
It's going to run for 6 weeks.
I am officially back to the university from last year where I took the first semester of BSEE and because I have dropped all the subjects from the new university where I transferred then there is no sensible record to add to my transcript of records hence the new university decided to not process my transfer credentials from the first university and had it pulled out and returned to the previous university. That means I have not transferred university and that is official.
Today, I decided to move forward with full commitment to AI when it comes to Software Engineering and I will never look back to the old Software Engineering.
That also means I will leave my company sooner this year for a better one that has already embraced the new disrupted software engineering based from AI.
Officially started my journey in Theoretical Physics via self-study with the addition of the following books:
- Methods of Theoretical Physics by Morse and Feshbach
- Methods of Mathematical Physics by Jeffreys and Jeffreys
- Classical Mathematical Physics by Walter Thirring
Studying all these books in depth while being guided by Leonard Susskind's "Theoretical Minimum" lecture series and books will give me a well rounded and a strong theoretical physics background at the advanced undergraduate or early graduate level Theoretical Physics treatment.
Add to this my formal studies in BSEE and finishing it in the future will make me a versatile Electrical Engineer with a Theoretical Physics background and having the capabilities of an applied physicist because of the mix of EE and Theo.Phys. will enable me to verge on cutting edge science and tech projects.
Went to the university this morning to process dropping for all courses this 2nd semester before I can pull out my transfer credentials and go back to my previous university from last year.
Started on advanced mechanics and read on the Lagrangian L. Will then proceed later minimizing the process of the Action by using the Euler-Lagrangian.
Meanwhile I am doing my gym workouts.
Decided yesterday to drop from the 2nd semester of the BSEE program due to continous delay of prelim exams (Integral Calculus, I already had midterms) and midterm exam (Engineering Data Analysis, I already had prelims), considering that we are already in the Finals and I have not studied yet for the topics in Finals. There is also exams for the Material Science and Engineering and then some frustrations on this part because the lectures are only focusing on old school material science and engineering for BSEE and focusing on history and testing technologies with little attention given to the physical and chemical properties and the lack of atomic level treatment of the course.
This has been worsened by the hectic demands at work at the moment and just like yesterday I was planning to take the exam but instead I have to travel to Manila for some important task at work.
Best part is that the transfer credentials were not given yet to the new university so I can still continue my studies from the one from last year without reflecting my drop of the courses from this semester in the new university.
Did a gym today.
Regarding the sports car, I realized that my negative equity for it is around 1/3 of the total cost to purchase under bank financing.
That makes the total cost of the car to 3M and a rough 1/3 of it is my negative equity. I could start 3 coffee shop business for that amount. Not good.
I have decided to get my very first sports car. The car is 2025 Mazda Miata MX-5 ND-3 2.0L MT Soft Top.
Will take sometime for the bank approval for financing because I don't want my a big chunk of my savings taken. Paper works will add up, and then the 3 month waiting period once it has been ordered from Japan as that is the time the car will be assembled and shipped to PH.
It's a whooping 2.3M Php, or comparable to purchasing 2 entry level Toyota Hilux, or roughly getting 2 high end sedans.
I'll get a lot of freebies in 5 years including free PMS and free servicing in that timeframe.
