Hence, although the master was a former LEO, he never embraced Pekiti Tersia.

His teacher on the second system was a former bouncer in clubs and then became a bodyguard for prominent VIPs. Now he just lives a simple life.

The system that my master learned from a Japanese master has no name but later the Filipino community probably expounded it and added Judo in the name and kept the original as the elite system and only taught to a few while the watered down version was the one generally taught to the public.

The second one originated from different indigenous Filipino Martial Arts including Cinko Teros and Balintawak and was fused together and the name is a giveaway for a quick close quarter battle.

The latter was the system taught to me last Sunday but the former was the system taught to me since March.

Some bruises on arm pressure points started showing up this morning after the training last Sunday.

Turns out my master's martial arts teacher was the tall guy that looks like a marine fresh from the basic school.

The lessons were counters on the 4 gates and it reestablished my understanding of the fundamentals. While the master taught me last time, now it is his teacher that deepens my understanding of the principles and actuals of these counter strikes.

From these fundamental moves I can deviate and transition to more lethal moves like breaking bones or hitting vital spots.

Thinking if I'll hire a housekeeper so I can relegate trivial stuffs and focus on work and schooling only.

Someone who will clean my cottage, cook, take care of garbage and laundry.

Didn't managed to stay awake for the acad work. Will do it later evening after work.

For now I am off the city for shopping.

One more round of review for chemistry (stoichiometry I &II) and on maths (limits & differentiation) before I do the necessary acad work.

Not enough time so I will be up at dawn I'm until morning to do the acads.

Also got my muscles aching from the gym workout last Saturday.

Tired from training yesterday on martial arts. Joints are painful from the locks, wrist, elbow, shoulder.

Still sleepy and tired from the 21km run but now I am at the gym waiting for the master. A tall guy who seems to be on the same level as master is also at the gym.

Even amidst thunderstorms I do my 21km run. One time lightning struck a tree on my left flank about 20 meters and I was worried I might get struck but I carried on anyways 😅

2km of the 21km run I met an old australian guy on trike bike and he said "it's too hot!". I replied "it's good for training!".

Most people don't know that I run regardless of whether it's daytime or night time or if it's raining or under the sun.

Cooking for lunch and preparing to eat and rest a bit.

I must be at the training venue on time with the master. Long time senior students will be there too including me and new ones.

That was the last review on advanced algebra. Need reviews on trigonometric identities sometime but moving forward will be focusing on differential calculus. Limits and three step rule differentiation at the moment.

Preparing for a morning 21km run.

Forgot I have not done the 21km run and ate dinner already. Will postpone the run tomorrow and the swim.

Afternoon I am back on martial arts training.
