Now, I have a big problem and that is how to balance and achieve my goals in STEM and Warfare.
A mercenary training is coming up in 2025 and then there is the UN and NATO related masters degree that really makes me droll.
I had the impression lately that due to Trump winning the presidency seat in the US will cancel out the prospect of a war with China that will involve PH but then this is also the time that such warfare related training is showing up in my face.
Currently I am on early days in BSEE and such opportunities like the masters are a conflict on my priorities but I want it.
Preparing to visit the university to submit some activities that was closed online for differential calculus.
Good thing there is no class suspension today and that means I can travel late evening or midnight to get to Manila for onsite reporting and to attend an event in the evening in Makati tomorrow.
I guess this is another crossroads.
A much needed training has opened in Europe and at the same time a graduate study that combines international relations, political science, warfare, counter terrorism has opened and also it turns out that my savings can accommodate both trainings.
If I prioritize this then I will have to differ BSEE for quite sometime.
Need to decide because this opportunity will open up chances for me to work on armed conflict areas either as field operator or analyst.
Next semester I need to reduce the courses for enrollment. If I have physics and one math then I can add one more but no more than that.
Both the compressed Physics for Engineers and the Integral Calculus will be much more difficult than the Chemistry for Engineers that I took this semester and the differential calculus.
So while I am here in PH the plan to transfer to SLU in Baguio isn't feasible because the cost of school fees is significantly higher than in my current university. You add that up from 4 to 5 years that is a significant add to my savings.
Remember I will have to spend more on training like an advanced scuba diving course and others. I also need to buy my development tools like an electronics workbench, an oscilloscope, a 3D printer, and many more.
This morning an idea came up in my head and suddenly I asked myself, why not try to move to a different career why still undergoing BSEE.
What came in mind is the work of a weapons related job such as weapons research analyst and the like. In that way I will be exposed to to the weapons industry including their research methodologies, systems, and business strategies.
I am happy to see know my uncle that has a very similar interest as mine.
This time it looks like he got some interest in theoretical physics so I am sending him some books to help him prepare.
After all, you only need a pen, paper, and math to study and do theoretical physics or mathematical physics.
