The university reached out for retention of its students many times and then one of the instructors from a general education course directly contacted me.
I had to tell them I won't be continuing and will be studying in a program outside the country. They suggested their online offerings but there is no BSEE on it. Even though if they offer BSEE online I still won't take it because of the lack of recognition for both the US and Europe.
Currently happy with the learning I am getting from MIT-OCW and will push for a masters on electrical engineer (and probably physics too) online in the future.
The proofs for the limit of [cos (delta x) - 1] / delta x, which is zero and limit of [sin (delta x)] / delta x is 1, I have learned using the Taylor series for a more rigorous proof and a geometric proof also for both using the unit circle.
In addition to this, the derivative of these functions when x is 0 exist for all the domains of the cos and sin functions.
I will have to visit Hague Sophia in Istanbul next year as part of my itinerary in Europe after a number of days for a training.
A friend warned me that because I am not Turkish, hotels will charge me expensive prices for the accommodation per night. If that is the case then I will just sleep in some Mosque around 😅
The review of Differential Calculus in MIT-OCW is ending up as a new study for me because the approach is different and instead of focusing on trivial calculations, it also derives learning from other insights in mathematics and not only Calculus.
Problems sometimes require specific techniques. For instance in a problem that is required to graph a function, it specifically required the use of completing the square for a quadratic equation but the only methods I was familiar with was factoring and the use of the quadratic equation. So I learned this completing the square technique.
For instance some problems emphasizes the nature of odd and even nature of functions, the visual representation in graph and in some proofs.
The limits and derivatives were not only limited to trivial calculations but also emphasizes nuances of the nature of functions and its derivative like the properties of continuity and discontinuity and many more.
Inverse of a function was left out from the BSEE program I was at last time but this is also an important concept.
Again, applications are integrated in the discussions as early as possible and this applications were discussed in more depth in the problems and solutions giving me more insights that I have not considered during the recent study in the BSEE program on Differential Calculus.
Yesterday I was able to reconnect with an old friend from far away after losing contact since 2022 amidst the war in Europe where our female friend fought alongside Ukraine.
This friend has not reconnected yet the woman warrior in our friend circles and I had to bring the news. He can't believe that our female friend is in the battle of Mariupol in 2022 who was wounded and survived.
Still unverified if the Uranium that was confiscated in PH was extracted and processed locally or was it indeed smuggled making it's way to PH.
It maybe parts of the missing Uranium from Libya in 2023 in which most of the quantity was recovered but the approx. 100 kg of Uranium confiscated recently maybe part of these missing Uranium from Libya back then.
Not sure how this depleted Uranium was extracted and processed from Uraninite that is present in some parts of PH.
It was being sold disguised as a precious metal. From open intelligence sources, it was known that some Chinese were looking for these stuffs and also terrorists groups.
Turns out that illegal trade of Uranium was first discovered by personnel from a national nuclear institute and reported this to the authorities for investigation hence, the entrapment operations recently.
While I was resting at the beach earlier after the 21km run and being bitten by lots of mosquitos, I was relaxing and scrolling the web for news and saw Syrian government collapsed.
A big win for the Turkish backed Syrian rebels and for the Syrian citizens.
I'm curious about the implication of this for the Western defense in the overall strategic picture.
A former gf who lives in Britain with access to information that is only for the elites actually warned me about an impending global problem and told me to prepare to stock supplies back in 2022.
She could not explain that specific event but kept on touching on conspiracy theory and made me irritable from time to time and sees it as a paranoia from her side.
Turns out she might be speaking some truth after all.
