The term "virtual reality" has done head mounted displays a disservice. First-person perspective, total immersion, and motion can't be combined without motion sickness. In other words, motion can't be done in VR. If we want motion with HMDs we'll have to settle for less. This is not a technology problem but rather a game design problem

Germans will make fun of the way Americans write dates but then go on to pronounce 365 as «three hundred, five and sixty». I feel like they deserve more bullying for this than they currently receive
