@Ouij @swampudlian I’m more optomistic . I’ve seen my feed start to diversify nicely in the past week or so.
@Ouij as I deactivated on Twitter I am enjoying the second hand stories about twitter. There is now baseball people on here too. I’ve tooted them
@swampudlian the only thing I regret is that according to Facebook John DeLancie (Q of Star Trek) got into it with Musk and his culties on twitter last night. I would have loved to see that. DeLancie is a smart guy.
@turtlensue The latest banning of reporters over the "El-ron Jet" account has REALLY brought over tons of folks over here. Odd that that is the line that shall not be crossed, and re-activating accounts of Neo-Nazis was not.
@swampudlian that’s why I went ahead and deactivated- otherwise I’d be too tempted.
Singer Josephine Baker was the toast of Paris. She was a spy for the French Resistance during WWII & secured passports for Jewish citizens fleeing Nazi territory.
Her marriage to a Jewish businessman drew the attn. of Hermann Göring, who poisoned her. Members of the Fr. Resistance rescued her; she recovered.
She was awarded the Legion of Honor, Croix de Guerre & the Rosette of the Resistance. In 2021, she was inducted into Panthéon, France's hallowed tomb of heroes. #BlackFriday
