“You lose friends to success, to failure, to flukish strokes of good or ill luck.”
It’s heartbreaking part to not be seen as a brave and imperfect human doing her best in crazy worlds. Yet I’m lucky to have many many friends that do see/love me for who I am.

So much of this article resonated with me and made me think about how #grateful I am for the friendships in my life, and how/why we should work hard to maintain them.
I particularly liked "Friendship is a bulwark against stasis, a potential source of creativity and renewal." So important.
