TIL even though the AR-7 was advertised as an "Air Force Survival Rifle" it never had any military contracts and to my research was never used by the military.

I finally have basically everything I need to compete in CMP high power competitions.

I had assumed vortex optics generally came with stickers because of how often I see those stickers but mine didn't come with a sticker. I guess those people are paying for those stickers?

Alright it’s been a bit of a wait for today’s #drybeer set and I’m visiting #thebikeseries again for this one since my hike today didn’t pan out. Luckily, these are some of my personal favorite #photos of the brief visit a few weeks ago.

Let’s talk about Arlen Ness, another legend who was heavily represented throughout the museum. Arlen Ness designed and built custom #motorcycles from the 1960s all the way until his death in 2019. Early on he was known for his wild and unique artwork on the bikes, but he didn’t stop at the paint- his custom builds ultimately took into consideration the parts (many his own), performance and entire aesthetic of the bike he was working on. Let’s take a look at one, a custom trike called Taxi he made in 1999, complete with a personal message he signed it with.
