Finally in my company we have a possibility to get #linux laptops :)! They are #dellprecision 5560 with #ubuntu2004 managed by #saltstack (meaning you can not deinstall the 10. code editor you don't need), but HEY, I WAITED FOR 15yrs so happy now 😃😃😃!! There is some rough edges, because our company's infrastructure is not really Linux ready, but I found workarounds for most of them.

So been using this laptop a week now.
- Moved to #kde from #gnome, although I use Gnome privately for some time now. #kde looks better integrated for professional use, but have to test this further.
- Bluetooth audio is a mess. Switching between A2DP and Headset has to be done manually. Workaround is to use the RF headset dongle I got with the headset, this works fine for now.
- Evolution struggles with EWS, but I am finding small changes in my workflow to compensate for this.

@anonimno sound is still an issue in @ubuntu.
Try to get pipewire + wireplumber installed, that will fix your BT problem, at least it did for me

@anonimno @ubuntu AFAIK and read, 22.04 has pipewire but not wireplumber as defaults

@warper @ubuntu
It was time to make a decision to either keep a #Thinkpad with #Windows or give it away and continue using #dellprecision with #ubuntu2004. After I used the Dell for a couple of weeks and found a solution for temporary accessing some Windows based applications over #citrix, I decided to give he Thinkpad away. I love the hardware of the Thinkpad, but ... having #Debian based machine at home and at work is such a nice feeling :ablobcatrave:
