Old Twitter: Notifications team is told to boost engagement "or else", so they spam people with notifications (I'm sure they're not the only team that was pushed to juice engagement, that's just on case I happen to have heard about).

New Twitter: Elon asks why his engagement has decreased and fires the most senior remaining IC for telling him that it isn't a bug.

Four days later, Elon's tweets are everywhere unless you block him (video from @parismax, but my feed isn't so different).
